Pick-ups take place daily between 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. You will return to Krakow around 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Pickup included

Pick-up location for your tour depends on the option you choose. In a situation where access by vehicle is prohibited or difficult, the nearest meeting point will be designated up to 5 minutes walk from your accommodation. The day before the tour (in the afternoon around 3pm), after collecting all addresses from the other tour participants, you will receive the exact pickup time from the agreed location.

Full description

Auschwitz-Birkenau is a group of German Nazi concentration camps that existed in the years 1940-1945 and are the symbol of the Holocaust. Also referred to as the „death factory”, they are the only concentration camps on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Identity document

According to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum regulations, tickets are valid only with the presentation of an ID document. The participant's personal data (name + surname) is printed on the admission tickets. Please remember to bring your passport or ID with you for on-site inspections (a document containing personal information and a photo). Without identification documents, you will not be able to participate in the tour.

Security check

Before the tour begins, each tour participant will be subjected to a ticket and security check, similar to those at an airport. All metal items will be checked by a scanner. Additionally, museum security reserves the right to deny entry to anyone under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

Lots of walking

The area of ​​the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp is very extensive and there will be a lot of walking during the tour. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes.

Hand luggage

You can leave your hand luggage on the bus for the duration of the trip.

Not wheelchair accessible

Moving around the mine requires full physical fitness. This tour is not recommended for travelers with back problems, wheelchair users, pregnant travelers, heart problems, or other serious medical conditions. NOT accessible for: wheelchairs, small scooters, baby strollers.
